Pinocchio 2012

I was fortunate to work on all three iterations of this project with Guillermo Del Toro alongside Guy Davis and Huy Vu. This was our second go after Guillermo decided to take up the mantle as director. The emphasis was very much on the handcrafted quality that we wanted to establish on the project, so it seemed natural to approach the concept art in the same manner. Paper and graphite, one of the oldest and still most effective creative tools available.
