The Last of Us 2 prologue design

Like so many acolytes of Joel and Ellie I absolutely adore this harrowing, dark, and deep emotional journey. So naturally when I got the opportunity during development of TLOU2 to pitch a prologue short film that would tell the story of the first game, I threw myself at the chance within a two-week period. Naughty Dog decided to go in a different direction, a brilliant one at that. Regardless, I feel lucky to have been able to make these explorative boards as my tribute to the complex and beautiful nature of these beloved characters.
